Ludworth Kennels of Westchester is a top animal kennel. We offer a variety of pet boarding and grooming business in Hastings on Hudson, NY. Our kennel was founded on a 100-year-old horse farm in 1955. On this acre-and-a-half, wooded site, we converted our former barn and stalls into grass and stone runs. There isn’t any cement here, as we want to provide pets with a safe environment to live in.
Meet Our Owners
The current owners and managers of our budget-friendly animal services are the Braig family. Husband and wife, Tom and Mary Braig enjoy providing quality services for pets. Aided by their kids Tom Jr., Lindsay, Tim, and Taylor, the family works hard to keep the animals in their care healthy and safe.
Mr. Braig has worked with animals for most of his life. At 58 years old, he has cared for many pets throughout the years. He is inspired by his father to continue his work in the pet industry with our pet care specialists. His dad, Eric, moved from England in the 1940s (along with an English Springer Spaniel) to start a dog boarding kennel.
After growing the business, Eric passed the reins to Tom in January of 1985. Since then, Tom and his family have continued to provide excellent boarding and grooming services for pets.
